das_ubersoldat
Anyone ever seen something like this? Bid was for 5* Leipzig hotel. The regular rate for the Marriott on Priceline is 109 USD for those dates. The two expired offers were already expired when the site showed up. I tried to book the Marriott but I was told that that offer has expired now, too. Link to comment
rachael_9667
I've never seen that before - did you get an email or did that pop up on the screen when you checked bid status? Link to comment
das_ubersoldat
It showed up right after submitting the bid. First you see the Shatner waiting screen and instead of a rejection or a win I got this. However I saw this now a few times but everytime I clicked on the Marriott it would tell me that this is now expired. Link to comment
cejm
I just got something similar on Priceline. Instead of revealing the hotel for a lower price, I was given the option to rebid immediately after at a recommended price given by Priceline. So for instance, I bid $90...instead of being told to change location, star rating or dates, Priceline gave me a "one time opportunity" to bid $111 Link to comment

This has been around for a long time, see this thread for more information: Priceline Suggests Price to Pay.
