I had been watching Hot.wire and PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal rates for weeks and was finding fairly high prices for this weekend, focusing on the White House, Dupont Circle and Capitol Hill zones. Earlier today, the best 4* rate in this particular zone was $164. So, when I searched again and the $118 price popped up, I grabbed it immediately.

 

The lowest available rate on Hyatt's website for these nights is $219.
