trying to get the 3* Hilton in St Petersburg area. don't understand why i can't get it when bidding $50

most likely because the going rate is $239 for that night at the Hilton

if you were referring to my post.....sorry if I didn't explain what I meant.........the going rate is $239 like I said already and that's rather on the expensive side for a 3* property.....typically we see people get the Hilton for well under $55 on priceline but that's when the going rate is less than $100...........usually a higher price indicates lower availability, so you could most likely still snag the hilton but you would have to venture into $60,$70, maybe $80 territory

I've stayed at the Hilton before and it's nothing to write home about, so I wouldn't be worried about not getting it..........have a good trip
