thereuare
Please start by following-up your previous Hotwire San Francisco thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. Also, are you really interested in both a 2* hotel and a 5* hotel for this stay?? I'm very familiar with NYC and if you let us know what it is that you're looking for from this stay we can suggest the best deals that are offered, which would be much quicker for us then researching 8 hotels. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
Riane
Dear, Thank you for the answer. I added a post at the San Francisco thread. I want a great location at NY, because of this, I have options at Times Square with only 2 stars. I don´t need parking. I can pay about $250 (maxim) for this stay per day, so I included other locations with 4* and 5* stars. It's my first time at NY. What you recommend? Thanks again, Riane Torres Link to comment
thereuare
I can pay about $250 (maxim) for this stay per day...Is this all-in (after taxes/fees) or room rate only? (i know 'cheaper is better' but we need to know where your limit is) To get you started, i do see what appears to be The Mansfield Hotel for $213/nite which is well located and gets good reviews... what would be your thoughts on this property at this price (to give us more of an idea of what you're looking for and the type of hotels that you like) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Because the value of the dolar, now I can pay maximum $230 (without taxs).Could you help me?Thank you again.Riane Torres Link to comment
Riane
I found this option now at Hot.wire 3 1/2* FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower $150.00 Is this the Paramount? Is it a good option? Thanks again. Riane Torres Link to comment
thereuare
Confirm your dates on the landing pages, but i'm seeing this 3* Times Square hotel with Free Internet and Business Center amenities for just $124/nite... my guess here would be the Tryp By Wyndham New York Times Square. The hotel gets mixed reviews, but at this price you may find it to be a good value and able to look beyond anything that makes the hotel less than perfect. I believe the Tryp Times Square is likely the HOTWIRE offer you're seeing above as well. If not these, then you're likely looking at something close to $200 for something like The Mansfield. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts on the guessed Tryp Times Square for $125/nite (and how it goes if you go for this one) vs. more (~$200/nite) for a 4* hotel... we'll take it from there. AaronJB
Given the difficulty of booking for a full week in NYC during what's usually a busy season, deals can definitely disappear if you wait. 4* PRICELINE EXPRESS - I'd guess the Hotel Mela would be a possibility in this case. 3* Hot.wire I'd guess Amsterdam Court. You can see the hotels reported to the board by clicking "Need Help?" in the upper corner and then "See Hotel Lists." Please keep us updated on what you decide. Riane
The option above is better than The Cosmopolitan (http://www.cosmohotel.com/)?%C2'> Thanks again. Riane Link to comment
AaronJB
To try and focus the search, are you looking for something in particular in terms of hotel? This Hell's Kitchen PRICELINE EXPRESS deal would be a possible match for the Holiday Inn Express West Side. Please keep us updated on what you decide for this stay. thereuare
I don't currently see anything at $200 or less that meets your criteria of a 'good hotel in a great location'... currently i think you would need to increase your budget to about $225/nite.
