Tinaponti
So I'm looking to book for sep17-20. On the strip. Either north or south. Help with hints on which one I may get when booked with the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal. Also maybe I can try bidding but I'm not sure as its my first time. Help please! Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :) If you are new to PRICELINE: PRICELINE Bidding: You choose a particular zone (ex. South Strip) and a star rating (5 star, for example.) You have to be willing to accept any hotel at that star rating in that zone. There is no way to increase the odds of a particular hotel or avoid a particular hotel. PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals: A set of listings for your dates that show star rating, price, zone and amenities. After purchase, like bidding, your reservation cannot be cancelled or changed. This option is usually slightly-to-moderately more expensive, but you can make an educated guess (no guarantees) on which hotels are showing based on the information given. If you would rather bid, let us know and we would be happy to offer our thoughts on how to proceed. If you would rather express deals, please provide the complete details of a listing you would like us to ID (price, star rating, all amenities, zone.) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Link to comment

Either north or south. If bidding 5* Strip North... is The Trump (which doesn't have a casino and is located slightly off-strip) an acceptable outcome? Would the Trump be acceptable?
