FmrNYCguy
Hi all - new to the list and I look forward to sharing the results of my Hot.wire bids going fwd. I recently bid for a hotel room from June 9 - 11 on Hot.wire, looking at a spot in the East Village/Lower East Side. Hot.wire threw out a 3.5 star option at $222 per night for those dates, with the following amenities: "Free breakfast, smoke-free rooms, fitness center, business center". There are no 3.5 star hotels in the E Village/LES area listed under the Hot.wire Hotel Lists section on this site, any help would be much appreciated, thanks! Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Unfortunately, this listing hasn't been ID'd/reported to the board. A guess would be the Comfort Inn near Financial District, but that's really just a guess and this could certainly be something else. thereuare
If you're looking to stay in this area why not the 4* hotel in this same zone for ~$10 more? (Restaurant, Fitness, Business, Pet Friendly) It's not only rated a half star higher than the 3.5* above, but this one also shows a 4.5/5.0 TA rating, so it has excellent reviews by previous guests (my guess for this 4* would be the Wyndham Garden Chinatown) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. FmrNYCguy
Thanks guys - that's a good suggestion ... I might as well go with the 4 star option in the same area, you're absolutely right about that. The other option I'm considering is the 4 star Financial District - Wall Street area hotel for $232 on those dates. I'm guessing its either Club Quarters Wall Street or the DoubleTree Financial District. I'll let you know which option I go with once I book later today. Thanks again for the advice and feedback. FmrNYCguy
Ok - thanks again for the help, I ended up booking the 4 star option for these dates and it was indeed the Wyndham Garden Chinatown spot. Thanks! Link to comment
