Hotwire Hotel: 4* Paris (Saint Germain - Luxembourg Gardens - Invalides) Hotel Le Petit Paris

We are looking at Paris for one night 7/27/15.  2 Adults and 2 children (ages 12 and 14) in one room.  Two options look appealing (info below).  Could you help identify the hotels?  

 

ALSO - it seems that most hotel rooms in Paris are really small, sometimes only accommodating 2 per room. But these are results we got for 1 room with 2 adults and 2 children.  Do they have to honor 1 room 4 people (with at least 2 double beds) or have there been issues where they make you pay more or buy an extra room once you get there?

 

Montparnasse 4* - $110.  90% recommended!  Favorite!

The hotel should honor the quad occupancy, but sometimes there are issues (not sure if do to language barrier, not having proper rooms sizes on hand, new to the HOTWIRE system, etc). However, once you learn the name of the hotel you can call/email to ensure the room assigned will meet your needs for 2adults/2children (assuming that is what you included in your search) and if there are any issues call HOTWIRE to have them resolve the situation. They usually get the hotel to provide an appropriate room, but if the hotel refuses (or can't), then they would likely offer a refund.

With the above noted, my guess for the Montparnasse property would be the Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse or the Mercure Paris Gare Montparnasse. For the Saint Germain hotel my guess would be the Hotel Original Paris.

Thanks for reply.  We looked up the Hotel Original.  It looks to be in the Notre Dame or Bastille neighborhood, not St. Germain.  Any other ideas on that one?

 

Good tips on confirming 4 person occupancy.  Will definitely do that.

Looks like they have rooms with a double bed and a sofa bed to accommodate a family of 4.
