AndiSD
Hello, We are planning a trip to Maui and like to Houna Kai. The description does not identify whether the wins are Studios, ! Bed or 2 Bed units. Does anyone know what is being offered? Thank you so much! Andrea Link to comment
AndiSD
BTW Is it described as 4* Kaanapali Area 90% Recommended. I think it is the Honua Kai. Link to comment
AaronJB
Please provide the full list of amenities showing with the listing and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the above listing. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Link to comment
AndiSD
Thank you! I know the property but as they offer 4 room sizes, I wonder which is given with a winning bid from Hot.wire. (Some condos show the room size in the description but this one does not.) We need at least a 1 bedroom so I am nervous to take it without knowing! 4* Honua Kai Resort and Spa Restaurant, Fitness, Free Internet, Laundry Room, Accessible, Wheel Chair Accessible, Roll In Shower Wheel Chair Accessible, Handicapped. thereuare
Unless otherwise noted all PRICELINE / HOTWIRE purchases are for standard rooms... if you need (vs. want) a different room type you should book using a source that allows you to choose the room type you are seeking. Sometimes you can upgrade at the front desk for an additional fee (or just by asking) but this is 'your mileage may vary' and there is no way to know beforehand if you'll be able to upgrade your room or not (even if you're willing to pay for an upgrade) What is your maximum budget per nite for this trip? If you're open to other properties have you considered PRICELINE / HOTWIRE for more than one room? If you book a 'named' hotel (where you know the name/room type ahead of time) please book thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com. Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or how we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
AndiSD
Hi! After lots of thought and investigation on the property, the likely unit size we would be given (from people at the front desk) and the fact that the Westin just started construction next door which impacts a number of condos, we took your advice and booked a condo directly from an owner. We paid a lot more but it was just not worth the risk. Thanks again for your help! Link to comment
