thereuare
Please follow-up your previous threads with whatever you ended up doing for each of those stays: NYC first leg NYC second leg Hotwire DFW Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. It would also be appreciated if you replied to your messages. After concluding your previous thread, let us know what it is that you're looking for from this stay (desired star rating, location, budget, and any other needs you may have) and we will try to suggest the best options for this trip. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
tab10us
Thanks for the information. I hadn't replied as we didn't end up using hotwire for that stay. All previous threads have been concluded. For this stay, wanting a 4.5 or 5 star hotel in Manhattan. Preferably a small, boutique hotel. Trying to stay at $200 or less, but could go higher if the property is right. Link to comment
thereuare
When closing your threads please indicate what you did for each stay... not just what you didn't do, as this makes the thread more useful for others if they are having trouble getting a win in the area for their own trip. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. tab10us
It has been so long that I honestly don't remember... I'll make sure to update what we do moving forward. Link to comment
tab10us
Updated all previous threads, as the previous inquiries were for a trip we ended up canceling to New York. We are instead going on 3/13, which is what this inquiry is for. However, please delete this thread, as I'm sure all of these options are expired. I will post a new, updated thread. Link to comment

AaronJB
Is this for the same dates as your other current NYC Hotwire thread? Are you looking for something in particular in terms of hotel? tab10us
Sorry, yes, this is for 3/13-3/16. Looking, preferably, for a modern boutique style hotel; however, the most important thing is that it has great reviews from others that have stayed there. 4 star minimum, but prefer 4.5-5* for this trip. AaronJB
I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to each listing, do you see more amenities? I'm seeing: 5* Financial District $195 Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly.--- Likely Conrad. 5* MTC $208 Restaurant, Fitness, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Pet Friendly-- Not yet ID'd/reported to the board. Possibly an upgraded Sofitel? 4.5* Chelsea $190 Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly-- Possibly upgraded Eventi to 4.5* from 4*. 4.5* TS ? PRICELINE EXPRESS 4.5* MTE - Could be the Omni Berkshire, Hyatt 48 Lex or Benjamin, but I'd lean towards this being the Omni. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if you have any additional questions. tab10us
Also, the 5* MTC that you're not sure about on Hotwire says that the last person got The Quin. Could that be it? There's one other Hotwire hotel that I would like help identifying, if possible. 5* Upper East Side area $230Full amenities list: Free internet, pet friendly, smoke free rooms, fitness center, restaurant(s), business center, self service laundry, internet access, spa services, accessible for visually impaired, accessible for hearing impaired, accessible path of travel, in room accessibility, accessible bathroom, roll in showerTrip advisor: 4.5 out of 5.0Nothing for Hotwire Thank you for your help!! AaronJB
Also, the 5* MTC that you're not sure about on Hotwire says that the last person got The Quin. Could that be it? The "last person got..." message is not necessarily the underlying hotel, it is the last hotel that someone won at that star rating in that zone. Thank you for keeping us updated on what you decide and let us know if you have additional questions. Link to comment

tab10us
I unfortunately will not be booking through Hotwire or Priceline if I'm unable to get a response regarding the message above. Any help would be appreciated. Link to comment
AaronJB
I added the full amenity list above in a previous post and had asked about another hotel on hotwire in the post below that. Any ideas? I included guesses in the message above from yesterday for the 5* MTC, 5* Financial, 4.5* Chelsea and 4.5* TS. The 5* UES has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but I'd guess the Loews Regency may have been upgraded to 5*. Please keep us updated with what you decide.
