Botown
Hello, I'm looking at a 5* center of strip hotel that's going for $167.00 a night. The dates are July 8-12, 2015. The amenities are listed below. What hotel do you think this would be? I'm thinking Aria CasinoFitness CenterPoolRestaurantBusiness CenterInternetGolf NearbySpa ServicesAccessible for visually impairedAccessible for hearing impairedAccessible path for travelIn room accessibilityAccessible parkingAccessible bathroomRoll in shower Link to comment
thereuare
I am seeing a 5* hotel in this zone for $167/nite but it has more amenities than you have listed above, the one i'm seeing has: Free Parking Resort Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... is this the amenity set you're seeing, or only the few list of amenities above? If this one, the Aria or Bellagio would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Botown
The amenities you added are the ones I'm seeing. I will let you know if I book it. Is there a chance the rates will drop on the 5 star hotels between now and then? Link to comment
thereuare
There is a chance that rates will drop... there is also a chance that this is the best it gets and rates only go higher from there. There is no way to know if rates will come down, or move higher, between now and your trip as it is all based upon supply/demand (current expected new reservations/cancellations and how that fits in with reality of actual new reservations/cancellations... if there are more new reservations/fewer cancellations than expected then rates will likely rise, and vice-versa) If you choose to wait i'd recommend booking a back-up with RefundableRates.com, then use our (FREE) service RateDrop which will monitor prices for your desired dates, star rating, and zones and send you an email should rates drop. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Botown
If I put in a bid on Priceline is there any way to put myself in position to get the Palazzo? I know the Palazzo and Venetian have the same amenities, but is there anything that separates them? Thanks,Bo Link to comment
AaronJB
There is no way to bid for a particular property - when you bid for a particular star rating and zone you have to be willing to stay at any hotel at that star rating within the zone. If you are looking to target, or avoid, a specific property then PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE are your better options. Let us know how you'd like t proceed and we will advise accordingly. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if you have any questions.
