celticjoys
We were happy with the stay at Crowne Plaza San Pedro (CP Crowne Plaza Los Angeles Harbor Hotel) and decided to try for an room for the night following our cruise.I wasn't able to get the same price I paid before our cruise so used the 10% discount coupon provided by Priceline ( in response to our original booking) for a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal: $91 - $9.10 = $81.90 One additional bit of information. I had just completed our check-out so the clerk on duty knew I had booked through Priceline. I then asked for the time of the next shuttle to the cruise ship terminal. All of a sudden the clerk tries to tell me there is going to be a charge of $5 per person contrary to their website info. Arrange for for your shuttle before you check out and even better don't make my mistake. Talk to the fellow on the concierge / bellman's counter. Only when I raised the issue of the website with the bellman did he indicate I should disregard the front desk clerk. On our second visit, the shuttle driver picked us up at the terminal and no fee was mentioned to any of the shuttle passengers. Link to comment
AaronJB
Congrats on your success. :) Sorry to hear about the shuttle issue, but hope the stay was otherwise a good one. Can you confirm the amenities that were showing before purchase for this PRICELINE EXPRESS property? Thanks. Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
celticjoys
I had searched using your recommendations for bidding on Priceline for a San Pedro 3.5 star hotel with free parking, wifi, and pool and free shuttle to the cruiseship centre. These same features were listed for the Express pricing. Hope that helps! Link to comment
