doctorsquared
How safe is the Convention Center/Arts area. Is this area particularly dangerous? I understand that this is a big city and not as safe as home. There is an excellent deal for a 3* hotel $87 (95% approval rate, free breakfast, free parking, pool, fitness, business, resturant, golf) (Hampton Inn?) a night during my meeting in November 5-10). I am planning to take my staff so I am worried about their safety. They did well in New Orleans last time. With a 95% approval rate and this low price I think I should grab it. How is the safety of this area? I will be ready to book soon. Thanks for your help. Link to comment
thereuare
Please start by concluding your New Orleans thread as to whether you stuck with the Comfort Inn reservation OR if whatever you did for that trip. As for this DC stay I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 3 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis ... is what you're seeing? (if so, i don't think this is the Hampton Inn) If not, how many rooms/adults/children are you including in your search? As far as safety goes, i don't know enough about the different areas of DC to comment, but where exactly is your meeting being held? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
