thereuare
Welcome (officially) to BetterBidding! If this isn't your first PRICELINE / HOTWIRE purchase in the last 4 years since joining the board, please begin to share your wins so that others can benefit from the information. Best guess for each of the hotels above: 1) Venetian 2) Encore 3) Palazzo 4) Wynn Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
hundurinn
Many thanks for your help. This is the first time since I've used this board. We decided against taking any of the offer so far. Will definitely use this board when we do decide to book a hotel. Link to comment
thereuare
The above covers just about all of the 5* hotels in the Strip North zone... is there something else that you're looking for OR are you just not comfortable with an 'opaque' purchase? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or if you decide upon a non-opaque purchase please use our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com. Let us know whatever you ultimately decide to do for this stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
hundurinn
We are looking to book either Encore or Cosmopolitan. We thought the Encore prices were a little to steep and no 5* center strip hotels show up when I put these dates in so we decided to wait a little bit to see if that changes with the hope that Cosmo shows up. thereuare
How much more is the Encore or Cosmopolitan worth to you than one of the other 5* hotels? What is your maximum budget per nite for one of these two properties? Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? Also, you can sign up for alerts at our sister site RateDrop to get an email anytime the Encore or Cosmpolitan drops in price for your dates... depending upon your budget i'm doubtful it will drop low enough in price to make a non-opaque purchase worthwhile, but any drop in price would signal a good time to once again check PRICELINE / HOTWIRE to see if any lower priced inventory has been added to the system. hundurinn
We are probably going to split our stay between two hotels. We haven't decided on the dates yet on each hotel. I will use this forum when we have made up our mind, probably next week :) Link to comment

hundurinn
The price for the second part of the trip became crazy expensive after the announcement of fight between Mayweather and Pacquito so we decided to use our Marriot points for Cosmo to save cash. Link to comment
