Priceline Hotel: 4* London Airports (Gatwick) Corner House Hotel

Started from $50 with a four star and kept going up in increments of 5 until I got to $60 with this hotel. With takes, this comes up to $79.50. Very disappointed because the same hotel can be booked on any travel webiste for the same price or even $1 cheaper -- but with more favourable cancellation policies. On some places, this is even listed as a 3* hotel. Not happy with priceline. I thought we were supposed to get huge discounts for the huge risks that we are taking on this bidding feature.

Having completed my stay, I have to say that I was really disappointed. While this was a cute place to stay, it is NOT a 4* hotel. This is more of a B&B, with tiny rooms and little space for suitcases. No bathroom amenities except a watered-down hand pump soap. Mind you, the staff was so nice and the place was clean, but the point is simply that this more of a 3* establishment. Bid at your own risk here...
