Priceline Hotel: 4* DC (Downtown) Madera, a Kimpton Hotel

There was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for Downtown for $89 for these nights, so my goal was to shave a few bucks off that, if possible.  Besides bidding is so much more fun tha PRICELINE EXPRESS deals!  I hope they never take away our bidding fun completely!  I was only bidding on Downtown and Downtown/White House.  Started at $50, and worked my way up. Won this for $85 with my last free re-bid zone.  Previous bid was $80.

 

Hotel Madera, a Kimpton Hotel, 1310 New Hampshire Ave, NW

 

With taxes and fees for two nights:  $203.98

 

Oddly enough, this hotel looks more like a Dupont Circle location, than downtown.  But I happen to like the Dupont Circle area anyway, plus this hotel has FREE WINE in the afternoons. I'm already in love with it!
