Tburr
I will be going to Melbourne, Australia in February. Any suggestions for a bid for a 4* or 5* hotel? Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
Rates will likely differ from date to date throughout the month of February... what are the actual date(s) of your stay? What is your maximum bid? Please also follow-up your previously unresolved thread for PRICELINE LONDON with whatever you ended up doing for that stay. Tburr
I will be in Sydney February 28 - March 6, 2006. I am looking for a 4* hotel. I have bid US$106.00 and it was rejeceted. Any suggestions? Link to comment
Chris26WI
Strange.. seems high to me... as the Four Points by Sheraton (by example) wants only something like 220 AUS$ per night and is available.. (other hotels as well probably).. so maybe it's just too early and PL doesn't have inventory yet? Don't know... Maybe you want to split it into two periods and try again at lower bid? Link to comment
paulieuk
Your dates coincide with the climax of the gay and lesbian mardi gras festival and so demand for hotel rooms is at its highest in Sydney. Link to comment

Tburr
I wish I could floow up, but in all honesty I forget which trip this was and what happened in the end! I think it might be where I got the Thistle Marble Arch for a great price, but I cannot remember what it was. Sorry Link to comment
