St. Giles The Court or the Carlton on Madison would be the likely candidates, but i'd tend to favor St. Giles the Court as being the more likely of the two as this one is seen much more frequently than the Carlton (which hasn't been seen in quite some time).

Does this happen to be a pre/post-cruise stay and/or do you need to stay in Manhattan for this nite as there are some very reasonably priced 4* hotels in Jersey City for your dates for about half the price, should these be of any interest (i'm very familiar with both the Jersey City and NYC area if you need help determining if this would work for your needs at all)

We need to stay in NYC as part of a larger gathering of folks, but thanks.  I'd be happy with the St. Giles, it looks pretty cool.  Being from this area I know that as we get closer to the holidays, you're aren't going to find a much better rate in Manhattan....I am also looking at another 4* in Midtown East as a possibility...should I post those details here or start a new topic, I forget?

The Midtown East 4* I'm looking at for $211/night same dates/# of rooms has this listed:

FULL AMENITIES: Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services

I am thinking Intercontinental Barclay or Grand Hyatt

Thoughts?

btw...I think my rate on the ESB area property is now $194/night...it seems to be fluctuating.
