mw6803
Traveling first time to Chicago 8/28 - 9/1. Looking to stay downtown, willing to split stay if necessary into 3 different hotels. Prefer 4* and up, $150 night max but hoping to pay less by splitting. Thanks for any help! Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)With a 4* in the Loop on Hot.wire for $109 and 4*'s North of the river around $130 and up, $150 isn't going to be necessary, thankfully. Would you prefer to stay North of the River or in the Loop? Would you be interested in spending more to try to make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing (Hot.wire, PRICELINE EXPRESS) or would you be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating chosen (Price.line bidding)? Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment

AaronJB
Congrats on your success. :) I'll note that one of my favorite stops - the Chicago French Market - is a few blocks West of this hotel, in the Ogilvie Transit Center (directions/hours: http://www.frenchmarketchicago.com/hours/) That offers quite a few vendors, including Wisma (one of my favs) and Little Goat (from former "Top Chef" winner Stephanie Izzard). In terms of other recommendations, let me know likes/dislikes and I'd be happy to offer further thoughts. Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
mw6803
Thanks, do you have any recommendations for breakfast specifically or is the French Market good for breakfast? Link to comment
