lindainphx
I booked this 10 hours before we arrived by train at 10 pm. I bid $55 and it was accepted (total cost: $71.75).Lucky for us, this Sheraton is next door to the Amtrak station (with numerous policeman on patrol between station and hotel). We were very happy here. It is clean, our atrium view room 714 was very large and very quiet, the staff is exceedingly service-oriented and friendly, the breakfast in the restaurant was the best hotel breakfast we've ever had (poached eggs perched on a 6 oz. filet of salmon, nestled on a crisp potato latke, topped with hollandaise, beautifully presented, $14.95). We shook Joe, the chef's, hand!We were moving on to the Hilton at the Ballpark for the next night. The Sheraton front office manager (Dogue pronounced Dosh) hopped in the van and personally drove us to the Hilton. (The Hilton had offered us a room for $250 for the previous night, which is what sent me scurrying to Priceline!) Link to comment
