Yes, most of the times is it possible to undercut the PRICELINE EXPRESS price when using the bidding service.

What would your max budget/night be before tax/fee's? Are you willing to pay more for a 3.5* hotel vs 3* or do you just want to get the cheapest hotel?

Exactly which zones are you bidding... was your first bid at the 3.5* level for the Downtown zone?

As you mention not willing to go over $63, and that you've been rejected at $62, what is your gameplan if your next round of bidding fails... will you bid up to the $69 level? (which is the current rate for the 3.5* PRICELINE EXPRESS offer)?
