Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip North) The Venetian

Looking for 5* hotel in Las Vegas gives you the benefit of many free re-bids, so I started at $70 and increased by $1 each time to see where it would get me.  $82 didn't work but $83 did.  My lowest previously accepted rate in this zone was $94 (Wynn), so I was happy to see it even lower.

Thanks, I'm quite pleased with the result!

One thing that I noticed on my last trip (about 1.5 years ago) was that even though I booked through Priceline NYOP, at check-in time the hotel (Wynn) informed me that I qualified for $100 resort credit.  I've seen those kinds of deals when booking directly with the hotel, but I didn't think they would apply when winning a bid.  I didn't question it and just enjoyed a free meal.  But does this happen often?  Maybe it was just a slow time (mid-December if I recall) or simply a mix-up.  I'd love to know if others have had this occur as well and if there's any rhyme or reason to it.
