Gabbo55
I have found a deal on the express deals for a 4* hotel in South Beach - Collins Avenue Oceanfront for $207 a night for 3 nights from 5th - 8th June. Amenities - Outdoor Pool, Restaurant, pets allowed. I think it is the Surfcomber.I see in the list view of hotels that the Surfcomber ($341) and the Shore Club ($372 a night) are available and these are on the betterbidding hotel list. Would the hotel I choose on the express deal be one of these 2 as none of the other 4* hotels are available on the list view, for example the Sagamore or Raleigh? Also I plan on bidding for this 4* on Collins Avenue. Can you advise of a starting bidding price and strategy/locations? Minimum 4*. Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
PRICELINE bidding (name your own price), PRICELINE EXPRESS, and the retail section of PRICELINE all user a different universe of hotels and some properties participate in one side of their service but not another side, so you can't use the 'retail' side to determine what you will get thru another arm of their service. If your first step is going to be to bid for a hotel, why don't we start there, as the hotel(s) currently offered on the PRICELINE EXPRESS side of their service may not be the ones that are offered once you're ready to seriously consider those offers for purchase. If you'd like to start by bidding, let us know your maximum bid, as well as if any other zones are acceptable, and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. thereuare
When bidding 4* in Miami you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. Select 4* South Beach - Oceanfront Collins... Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $155, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $165, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $175 If the above is rejected, PRICELINE EXPRESS now has a 4* hotel in this zone for $175/nite with: Outdoor Pool Pets Allowed Restaurant ... and you can take this as your best 4* deal in this zone. Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
