rwc1792
I'd like some assistance identifying a property in the Lake Buena Vista Downtown Disney Area on Hot.wire. I used the BiddingHelper.com link to find all the amenities (I hope). I see the following: Free Parking, Resort, 1 Bedroom Suite, Full Kitchen, Smoke Free Rooms, Air conditioning, Laundry in room, Children's activities, Fitness center, Pools, Restaurants, Business Center, 24 hour front desk, Self service laundry, internet access, golf nearby, tennis nearby. I think this might be the Hilton Grand Vacation on International drive as it matches the room description for a 1 bedroom suite at that property which has a laundry in the room and a full kitchen. It's similar to an identical property on the same dates that lists a studio and kitchenette instead of 1 bedroom suite and self-service laundry (options listed on the hilton website for a 1 bedroom studio room). Note that the 1 bedroom property only shows up in a search if you indicated 2 adults and 2 children. The studio shows up at $71 when you only search for a property for 2 people. I think the studio are only for 2 people. I hope this make sense. Does this seem like a match for the Hilton Grand Vacations? Link to comment
yellowdog
Please provide a follow-up for your prior Reno Hotwire thread (post in that thread what you decided for that stay), then reply to this thread and we'll be happy to look into the above. Please follow-up your threads with whatever you end up doing, even if you chose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc. Thanx for using boards HOTWIRE links! Yellowdog. Link to comment
rwc1792
I thought I had closed that thread, nonetheless, I posted what I ended up doing with that search in the thread. Thanks for the help. Link to comment
thereuare
I'm not currently seeing any 1BR property offered when searching for your dates, and have tried 2adults/0children, 2adults/2children, 4adults/0children... are you still seeing this property offered on your own HOTWIRE search? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
rwc1792
I do see it, except now the price is lower, $134 per night. Here's the link to the search, I have no idea if it will work: <removed dead link> Link to comment
thereuare
Unfortunately posting a link to a HOTWIRE result page won't work, but i do see this property now... Best guess for this one would be the Sheraton Vistana Resort. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
rwc1792
Thanks, I was hoping for the Hilton Grand Vacations since I'm already booked for a timeshare there the 9-12. Interestingly, the Sheraton Vistana is the same price on the Sheraton website as a pay in advance offer. I'm not sure if I'd want to switch properties mid-trip. I'll post when I make a decision. rwc1792
I decided not to go ahead with the hotel on HOTWIRE. I discovered that the 1 bedroom suites only have 1 king bed with a pullout sofa, and that's a deal breaker for me. I decided to extend my stay with the Hilton Grand Vacations that I booked from a timeshare offer. Link to comment
