n2ny Posted May 28, 2014 Author Report Share Posted May 28, 2014 Wound up waiting a bit too long for this and watched prices begin to rise and the Best Western Tria (which was a bit less on Hotwire) become unavailable. Still beat the best rate available from hotel, so that's a win overall. Plus, we like this property and have stayed here often as it is closest to the Tufts campus. I tend to avoid Priceline Name Your Own Price, however, because I want to avoid "winning" the Holiday Inn Bunker Hill, which is in the same zone and star level. but that property was fully booked, so I felt pretty confident of getting the Hyatt., Price.line also tried to get me to up my bid by $35 but I rejected the opinion and added $5 instead. As always, used your PRICELINE links. $170 + 33.35 - $203.75 total cost Thanks for your help! This was a Price.line Name Your Own Price win, BTW. Link to comment
