Doraemon
Bid made on May 4, 2014. Bid History:4* Midtown East - $1214* Midtown East, Midtown West - $131 Strategy:The hotel inventory for Name Your Own Price and Express is not necessarily the same, but it is what I used to price my bids. I check the site every few hours to look for fluctuation in prices. It can happen at any time but 3 PM to 4 PM EST seems to be when the prices were lowered (inventory was released). Here is the history of the average lowest price for 4* Midtown East express deal:May 3: $233May 4: $233May 5: $233May 6: $219May 7: $232 On May 4 at around 3 PM, the express deal price dropped to $157. After I won my bid using Name Your Own Price for a room, the express price went back up to $233. I always use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board for my travel purchases. Link to comment

Doraemon
Wow, that would've saved me a lot of time. Thanks! On another note (since I can't edit the original post anymore), all the dollar figures in my post are in Canadian Dollars. So $131 CAD is roughly $120 USD.
