thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! What are the dates of your stay? What do you consider to be a 'low bid'? Would this be your maximum bid as well? Are you attending a conference at the Convention Center? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. want2go
The date is April 25. Anything under $100 would be good. I saw where someone recently bid $67 My daughter is performing at arie theater across the street. I would love to be so accessible b/c of younger children also going on trip. Link to comment
AaronJB
I'm seeing what appears to be the Hyatt McCormick on Hot.wire, but unfortunately at $185 - substantially higher than what many hotels downtown are listed at. I do think that you could get a hotel under $100 downtown pretty easily - there's a 4* in the Mag Mile-River North area for $78 on Hot.wire, and you could likely get a winning bid for moderately less (maybe $60-70 +/-). While not what you were hoping for, if you could get a 4* in one of the two downtown zones for around $65-75ish, that would be a big savings over what the Hyatt McCormick appears to be going for to the point where you could take taxis both way and still wind up with a nice savings. Let us know your thoughts and we would be happy to offer further suggestions. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
