AaronJB
3* Loop - Likely La Quinta.3.5* Loop - ??? Possibly Blake?3* Downtown/Loop/GP: I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?3.5* Downtown/Loop/GP: I believe there are more amenities for this listing, as well.4* River North- Likely Felix. PRICELINE EXPRESS:3.5* Millennium-Loop-Grant Park - Blake or Crowne Plaza Metro would be matches on amenities, but the Crowne Plaza has a 7.9 rating so I'd lean towards the Blake as being more likely.3* Mp-Loop-GP - I'd guess La Quinta4* River North-NMA - Crowne Plaza/Palomar/W Lakeshore would be matches on amenities. The Palomar would be highly unlikely. To try to narrow down/focus the search, are you looking for something particular in terms of hotel? Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
Lucashs
Seriously thinking about the La Quinta option. Do you think that both priceline and hotwire are equaly firm on your guess? Because Priceline has the 5% discount :) Would you recommend? Thanks! Link to comment
AaronJB
The La Quinta looks like a nice property and it's new within the last year or two. The issue becomes, however, it's square in the West loop. The area around this hotel is primarily offices and at night it's going to be quiet/very quiet. During the day, it's a bit of a trek to get to most tourist sites. Breakfast is a bonus, but there's a lot of breakfast options all around the city. I am seeing a 4* in the Mag Mile North-Water Tower area w/Free Internet,Pet friendly,Boutique Hotel,Smoke Free Rooms,Fitness Center,Restaurant(s),Business Center,Internet access,Golf Nearby,Tennis Nearby,Spa Services,Accessible for the blind,Accessible for the deaf,Accessible path of travel,In-room accessibility,Accessible bathroom,Handicapped parking,Roll-in shower If you click on the listing, you should see a 4.5/5 tripadvisor rating. This amenity set would be a possible match for the MileNorth. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
