jenjenfirenjen
Hi! First time posting here. My mom and I are looking for a hotel in NYC for 2 nights (March 28-29.) We will be going to several Broadway shows and running in Central Park so CPS or Times Square/Theater District are ideal but MTE or MTW are OK too. Last year we stayed at The Barclay which was nice but a little far to walk in the cold in heels to the theater at night. Would like 4 star for around $150 per night (but could go up to $200 including fees.) Could you please offer advice on a bidding strategy? Thanks so much! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Note that the CPS zone has the Hudson Hotel, which while well located, has notorious small rooms (even by NYC standards). As this is just a one nite stay this may be acceptable to you, or you may not be interested, please confirm if we should include this zone in your bidding and we'll advise accordingly. Also, are you willing to pay more to stay in the TS or CPS zone (vs. the MTE and MTW zones) OR is price ultimately the most important factor and the least expensive hotel in any of these zones is the goal? Let us know the above and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. jenjenfirenjen
I'm willing to pay a little more (up to $200 a night including fees) to be in Times Square/Theater District or CPS but I'm ok with MTE or MTW. A small room is likely OK too. We don't spend much time in the room at all and we don't bring a lot of luggage. Thanks! Link to comment

jenjenfirenjen
Thanks so much for the bidding strategy. I followed it until I got to bidding on 4 star, MTE, MTW and TS for $153 and that was accepted at The Lexington. Looks like a great location. Thanks again! Link to comment
