I got a PL EX 3.5 Star offer for $ 106, March 14 - 16, 2014.

Looking at the hotel list Convention Center this could be:

Las Vegas Hotel

Embassy Suites

Las Vegas Marriott

PRICELINE EXPRESS shows "guaranteed amenities":

Outdoor Swimming Pool

Business Center

Free Parking

Fitness Center

Guest Score Rating: 8.0

For comparison: Hotwire offers for the same stay at $ 79, for what

most likely is IDed as the Las Vegas Hotel.

First choice would be the Embassy Suites, as some friends are already staying there.

For the HOTWIRE listing, if you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?

The PL-E listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but I'd guess the Embassy or Marriott would be possibilities.

Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

While a hotel doesn't need to show all of the amenities offered, with the lack of a Free Breakfast amenity listed for the PRICELINE EXPRESS property i would slightly favor the Marriott over the Embassy Suites, but as both have all the amenities listed, it could be either. This one wouldn't be the LVH since that property does not currently meet the 8.0 minimum user review rating that PRICELINE is showing for this listing.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help.

The 8.0 is indeed a important indicator. Awesome detective work! I will keep you posted.

Thanks thereuare.

Edit: using the HOTWIRE link, another property for NSE pops up:

3-Star: Free Parking, Free Internet, Airport Shuttle, Smoke-free Rooms, Fitness Center,

Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry

85% customer recommended.

Price: $ 48 / night = $ 96 + fees $ 21.99 = $ 117.99; plus resort fee listed as estimate $ 20. Not specified per night or per stay.

Looking at the hotel list here this matches the Blackstone Hotel description.

Will this trip replace you previous Priceline Las Vegas hotel request or will you be in Vegas for both sets of dates?

For both hotels, I can't get the same hotels to appear on my standard search for 2 adults. How many rooms/adults/children did you search for? Can you please run a new search and confirm that you still can see this hotel on your search. Please also post the price for each hotel.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases and searches.

Reporting back:

Hotwire showed a 2* for what seemed to be the BW Mardi Gras at $ 159 all in.

interestingly, the same hotel was offered for $ 139 all in on another booking website - not sure if it is within T&C of Betterbidding to disclose this.

Surprised that a regular booking with hotel name disclosed came in lower than both Hotwire and PL. Talking about an intransparent market place.   :)

Meanwhile a group / AARP rate of $ 127 (about $ 290 all in) was offered at Embassy Suite, which the party I am helping might end up with.

If your new dates were 3/21-3/23 you still had over a week left to make your plans.

I'm assuming that this is indeed for the same trip as your previous thread (you decided to travel on one date or the other, but not both) and have combined the threads.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.... or the links in our Support Page for your hotel direct purchases.

Thanks.
