We don't have an exact budget but we want to try as low as possible. I am just looking for a decent hotel with a decent neighborhood. Basically we would like to visit most famous places, not shows or anything.I am waiting your region comments and any tips for hotels.Thanks in advance. Link to comment

We would be happy to suggest areas to stay, but do you have a max in mind that you would not want to spend more than? Smocalypse Posted February 7, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 7, 2014 Well that will be my last trip in USA before going to my country therefore i dont have an exact budget but I think 2 1/2* - 3* seems fine. Location is important of course but as I know you can go wherever you want with metro so if the hotel is close to metro I think that will work. Pricewise I am thinking around spending at most 350-400 usd for hotel including taxes. According to the price of the hotel I can decide whether we going to stay 2 or 3 days. Link to comment

Smocalypse Posted February 7, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 7, 2014 Probably we will be spending our all day sightseeing so we will only use the hotel for sleeping therefore I really don't whether we really need the hotel in Manhattan. I never been to New York so I don't know. Of course it is not worth 10-20 usd but if I have chance to find a better and cheaper hotel little bit far from Manhattan I don't think it is worth paying the extra. Link to comment

It will be 3 nights from 24-27th april, it can be any area near to Manhattan, either Manhattan itself, New Jersey or Brooklyn. I just need a decent neighborhood with easy access to metro so I can travel easily. My maximum budget per night will be 130-140 usd including tax. I hope this helps, thanks for your time and help.
