I would like to stay around $150 but am willing to go up to $175 if I have to. I tried bidding $150, $155 and $160 earlier today but they were all rejected.. help! Link to comment
AaronJB Posted January 14, 2014 Report Share Posted January 14, 2014 I think you're likely not far off, although it may take a little higher than your desired budget. Based on the rate/s I'm seeing, I think a 4* in this zone is possibly going to require $175-185 (HOTWIRE has a 4* for $198), but I'd continue bidding higher by $5's ($165, $170, $175). Additionally, you do have some time, so you could either move higher as needed to try and do what it takes to lock something in now, or, if $175 is not accepted, you could start lower and keep trying every few days in the hopes that inventory bcomes available at lower rates.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
