europe-chick
Hi,Just after some help to id a New York hotel.Dates Feb 13th for 4 nights, 2 adults.$98 per night.4* Downtown - Soho - Financial District.Amenities listed: Fitness Centre, Restaurant(s), Business Centre, Self Service Laundry, Internet Access, Wheelchair Accessible.85% Hotwire recommended, and 4 out 5 Tripadvisor. It also says ''book soon, the last person got the Gild Hall''I'm guessing that it's not actually Gild Hall this time, as they don't laundry listed as an amenity on your Hotwire list.I'm thinking maybe Andaz? as this seems to be the only one that has all of the above amenities. This is a last minute spur of the moment trip from Europe, and so I'm looking to keep the room at a max of $100 per night if possible (before taxes). Flights not booked yet, so we can be flexible and maybe go the weekend before of the weekend after this one if we end up with a better price. Many Thanks.europe-chickps - I did click on your links to start my searches! europe-chick
actually I think I may have changed my best guess. I'm now thinking it's the Doubletree?this would be my least favourite option from the 4* hotels listed, and it also doesn't really represent a great saving - their own website has rooms listed at $125 per night. thereuare
I don't think this is likely the Gild Hall... the Doubletree Financial District would be my best guess for this one.Your dates are over Valentine's Day which is typically a very busy nite, so some hotels may not be willing to discount too deeply (although the 20% discount you're seeing above isn't too bad)Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. To be honest I'm not that keen to book if it's probably the Doubletree. Yep, I realise that it's Valentine's Day that weekend, which may push the prices up, it's also my birthday that weekend hence us choosing that weekend first rather than any of the others in Feb. I'll have a think and update the thread with our decision.thanks again for your help Link to comment
europe-chick
back again!I've also spotted a 4* Empire State Building Area that I may be interested in.Same dates: Feb 13th for 4 nights, 2 adults.$123 per night.Amenities listed: Free Internet, Fitness Centre, Business Centre, Self Service Laundry, Internet Access.90% Hotwire recommended, it also says ''book soon, the last person got the St Giles - The Court New York''I'd have guessed at St Giles The Court again?I know this is over my $100 per night budget, but I'm not too sure about the Soho one with it probably being the Doubletree.I used the links again! Thanks againeurope-chick Link to comment

thereuare
I'm not certain, but a new amenity set for the Hotel Chandler would be my guess for this 4* ESB property. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
