Great... thanks. Do you know how the site handles rooms with three people? Is it guaranteed two beds?

HOTWIRE guarantees sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search. While this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc (but will that in NYC most hotels have a high percentage of rooms with only one bed, and rooms with two beds is often considered an upgrade, so there is a higher probability of the second bed being a sofabed/rollaway). You're also traveling during very busy dates in NYC, so the chances of the hotel having many vacant rooms and being able to easily switch are less vs. if you were to go during a very slow time of year.
