Priceline Hotel: Fort Lauderdale Hotel on Priceline

Hi,

I started bidding at $70 for a 3.5* hotel near FLL airport, failed, and added one more area (Ft Lauderdale - Airport North) also increased price to $75, still failed.

Any suggestions for the bidding strategy? Should I just buy the express deal- $100 3* one?

You have the time - I'd try bidding up by $5's at a time rather than just going for the express deal for $100.

Why not at least first bid up to $100 for a 3.5* property and/or up to this price for a 3* property... before taking the 3* at $100? (but do keep in mind that the current PRICELINE EXPRESS offer could disappear at any time, so you don't want to sit on this if you believe this is your best deal and you'd be happy with a 3* at $100 for the nite)

Also, is the Airport zone the only one that you're willing to accept? The Downtown close is fairly close as well.

I didn't book the hotel from PRICELINE in the end. I actually canceled the trip. Thank you.
