Brittney Marie
I'm planning a surprise trip to Vegas for my little sister's 22nd birthday. Really want it to be special, so I want to stay in a really nice hotel. I've used priceline before to book rooms locally and I've always did well; But, Vegas is a new area. Can you guys give any advice on what to start the bids at. For both Vicinities? Thanks. Link to comment
Brittney Marie
Probably would have been helpful to add dates. 10/04-10/06 Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Sharing any prior wins (as separate posts) would be greatly appreciated as the information does still help others. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay and how many people are in the party? If more than 2, you may want to consider HOTWIRE.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment

MurtleCake
I would bid 5 star only, North Strip and South Strip. The 4 stars get a little dicey... as in they are widely varied, some really nice places, and some mediocre places all lumped together.I see PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals, 5 star North Strip (Which would be Venetian/Palazzo (more likely) or Wynn/Encore for $185 a night. You could try bidding it a little lower.. Or Strip *Vicinity* North is 100% Trump Las Vegas that is $189 a night ($191 you can get the 1 bedroom). It's an expensive weekend in Vegas it seems. The prices are slightly lower on HOTWIRE, for likely the same hotels. Also heads up, all the 5 stars will have 1 king bed.. so you'll have to bunk together. Link to comment
