freezeepopprice
Hi there,If anyone has any bidding strategy for a London 4* hotel I would be very appreciative. I am looking for 8 nights (Oct 22nd to Oct 30th). I am looking for the cheapest 4 star ... ideally close to the center.I've noticed that the express has a hotel in Earl's court for $149. I'm hoping to go lower ($100 if possible). Thanks in Advance! Link to comment
thereuare
Please list the zone(s) that you're willing to accept and we will suggest a strategy for you to follow. We will start lower and gradually increase, but even without knowing your acceptable zones, i'd guess that $100 may be a bit low for a 4* hotel this time of year... is this your maximum bid or should any strategy we suggest also go a bit higher? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. vanpoodle
I've posted a few thoughts on this recently, you can do a search in the forum just on London -- there's been a lot of recent posts. Link to comment

Thanks. I'm taking a look at your recent postings to get an idea of the zones. I'm not even sure what zones I should be looking at but I think they want to be somewhat closer to the centre of things (i.e. within a 20 minute tube ride or so). Link to comment
freezeepopprice
I pieced together a good strategy from some of the other replies.Managed to get the Maida Vale at $115. I avoided Kensington-Earl Court (at this price) because of the Copthorne Tara.Tried bidding all the way up from $85. Link to comment
