I am traveling to Chicago November 8-11. Having had success with this forum before, I am back and ready to finally book through the site! I do need some help identifying these two hotels below. I believe the 4.5* is the Thompson but the other I'm unsure. I appreciate your help.

I would guess the 4* is the Hyatt on Wacker, while the 4.5* is a potential match for the Thompson.

Thanks for the help identifying. Was deciding between this one and the 4.5* Gold Coast which should be the Thompson. This seems like a better area for walking, restaurants and shopping. Used the HOTWIRE link provided to book. Thanks again for your help.

Nice win for this centrally located Hyatt. I'll also note that there's a Mariano's Fresh Market (http://www.yelp.com/biz/marianos-fresh-market-chicago-2) a couple of blocks away on Benton. Nice option if you are looking for snacks/drinks to take to the hotel or around during the day.
