swedishmia
The only information I had was Zurich City Center area hotel with amenities pet friendly, 80% recommended.Hotwire also stated that the average advertised price was $338 with a saving of $239...However, when I compared the hotel it was $127 on all other advertised sites.... yellowdog
Thank you for sharing your result with the board! Also thanx for the addition for this new property to the BetterBidding Hotwire Hotel ListCan you please confirm your date(s) for this stay.when I compared the hotel it was $127 on all other advertised sites....The average advertised price isn't specific for the hotel you get. It's just an avarage price for all 4* in the zone you're looking at.Enjoy your stay. Please use the board's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your purchases and searchesYellowdog. Link to comment
swedishmia
The date is 9/9 - 9/10/ 2013 It was not the average advertised price for random hotels.Hotwire stated that price for this particular hotel. Under the 4 stars for this listing it said with black crossed over letters $338and then the hotwire price in bold red letters of $127. When I clicked on the listing to book the hotel it saidStandard price $338, You save $239. So, I booked the hotel and after I got the name, I looked it up at other sites and it was listed for $127 everywhereI looked, which is nowhere near $338.... Link to comment
thereuare
As per above, the crossed out rate has nothing to do with the specific hotel that you purchased... it's based upon rates from retail travel sites in the last 24-48 hours for the same neighborhood, star rating, and stay dates. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
