ladyz
I'll post some thoughts here and start a review as well.Location is fine. It's on N. Sierra street (1 block parallel to Virginia Street which is the main drag). It's only about 2 blocks from the main grouping of hotels (Circus/Circus, El Dorado, Silver Legacy). Valet parking is complementary, and I suggest you take advantage of it. Self parking is a pretty small outdoor lot across the street in back. It fills up quickly. Save yourself the effort. The casino itself is fine. For interesting eating, Benihana (Japanese teppan cooking) is located on the property. Had no problems with check in and the room was pretty decent. Two star level was right. No clock radio, the lights were pretty dim, the bathroom had a vanity and chair, and two sinks, which was unexpected. The nightstand lights didn't work, and despite two calls to the front desk, no one arrived to repair it.No internet access in the rooms, which was a bummer. Apparently there was wifi access in the business center, but I never checked. Also, the train passes right next to the hotel. This could keep some up at night. There is a church a block away as well, and you will hear the chiming on weekends. All in all, not a bad alternative if you can't find a room at the other hotels. I wouldn't mind getting this property again, but there are many others I'd prefer if I had the choice. Link to comment
