Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Cocoa Beach - Merritt Island (Cape Canaveral) Country Inn And Suites Cape Canaveral

Hi,

I'm trying to get a room at one of the Cape Canaveral hotels for 11/16-11/17. I had to change my cruise, so I already have a $25 change fee that will apply to my booking. Right now, it looks like Priceline is higher than Hotwire for the hotels that I'd like to get! (Radisson or Country Inn & Suites). Problem is, I have a book through Priceline as I cancelled a room earlier and want the credit.

So far, I've bid up to $70 (Cape Canaveral, Merrit Island, 2.5*+). Any higher seems like too much? These hotels usually aren't over $100? On Hotwire, they're around $65? What gives?

There's a 2.5* in Cocoa Beach on PRICELINE Express for $63. Otherwise, rates do seem on the high side for the area for this night.

On Hotwire, they're around $65? What gives?

I don't think you're comparing apples-to-apples... the 2.5* and 3* hotels i'm seeing on HOTWIRE that are $65-$75/nite are properties that are 2* rated by PRICELINE.
