Priceline Hotel: 2* Napa - Sonoma (Napa Downtown South) Wine Valley Lodge

Hello All,

I am looking for a hotel in Napa, CA. Dates are Sept 12-14th Looking to stay in category4 or 5 which is napa downtown north and south. Looking to spend $120 a night tops hopefully this isnt too low. Also trying to stay 3 star or above.

Any suggestions would be great. Please let me know if this is not feasible or if anyone has any other suggestions for a different zone that would be great. This is the last leg of my trip to CA so trying to save money on the hotel so i can spend it at the vineyards :)

At current rates I'm doubtful that $120 will be enough for a 3* or better for these dates, but if you want to give it a try...

When bidding 3* in Napa you have ONE re-bid zone. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...

I tried what you recommended it did not work i raised my bid for both locations 3 star and above to 185 and no luck. I was thinking maybe i should try $200? looks like there are only really 3 hotels that populate and on PRICELINE they are selling 349, 419, 626. Your thoughts? Now i need to wait 24hrs or will it release earlier?

Increasing your budget would be a step in the right direction, but it may ultimately take closer to $225-$250 for these dates (but you have some times so you can increase your maximum bid $15-$20 every 24 hours and try again (assuming you are willing to bid that high)

I think 230 would probably be my max. Is there another area that is close and i can use for another bidding zone?

If you're looking for another zone to bid that is geographically close you can simply look at the PRICELINE maps and see the zones that are nearby the Naps North and Napa South zones and then determine if these are close enough for you (and remember you could end up at the further point in the newly added zone away from Napa so don't just look at how close the closest part of the new zone is to Napa... you want to at least be prepared for the worst and see how far you could possibly be in any newly added zones)

If instead you were asking if there are any other re-bid zones the answer is no, there is only one re-bid zones when bidding 3* in Napa.

... best guess for this one would be the 3 Palms Napa Valley Hotel and Suites at the Napa River, which you may want to consider if your bidding gets too and beyond your budget and you think this property could work for your needs. (it's a trade-off between cost vs. convenience vs. star rating)

Was getting nervous with everything filling up. Went with a 2* PRICELINE EXPRESS deal and got the Wine Valley lodge for $128. Thanks for your help.
