Priceline Hotel: Help for NY November 22 to 27

Hi everyone,

I am looking for an hotel in NY for november 22 to 27.

I found one at Hotwire on Midtown Central, 3* for $121 per night.

The amenities are:

Free Breakfast

Pet friendly

Business center

High-Speed Internet Access

Accessible for the blind

Accessible for the deaf

Accessible path of travel

In-room accessibility

Accessible bathroom

I am guessing this is the Holiday Inn Express 5th Avenue, wich would be no problem for me.

Do you think is possible to get a 3* less expensive or a 3,5 or 4 stars around the same price on Priceline? I would be happy with these areas:

CPS, ESB, MSG, MTW, TS

If you go back to HOTWIRE and click this offer, then on the ensuing page click the 'See all' link under the amenities, do you see more than what you've posted above? (most notably Handicapped Parking and Roll-in Shower amenities)

At the moment this may be tough to beat (by much)... i don't think your chances are that good for a 3.5* hotel for the same price, but you may be able to get a 3* hotel for just a little less, but the question is if you're willing to accept any 3* hotel in the zone when bidding on PRICELINE (for example, the 3* Hudson Hotel is in the CPS zone but has notoriously small rooms (even by NYC standards), would this be worth saving a few dollars vs. the HOTWIRE hotel above?)

These amenities are the only one that appears. Do you think this is the Holiday Inn Express 5th Avenue? I guess that I will take this one (today it appears for $125)

That is strange. I used an iPad and 2 different computers and couldn't see what you saw.

Anyway, today I received a very good offer from a Brazilian site for the Hilton Garden Inn 35th and booked it for $140.
