Could I get help with the following ID for a south strip hotel on hotwire?

39$ Canadian. 80% recommended. Free parking, Free internet, Pool(s), Fitness Center, Business Center, Casino, Resort, and more.... Resort fee 19.99.

I saw it too for $39, but when I clicked on the link it took me to a 'West of Strip' hotel. Now the 4 star South Strip is $79

It doesn't look like it is offering it anymore. If I see it that cheap again, I will post the full set of amenities.

I don't know why, but it seems like prices are very very high for this week. I know there is a big fight, and the iheartradio music festival on the weekend before, but that doesn't explain the high prices during the week after. Frustrating!

Yeh that 10% deal is decent. Thanks for letting me know, but the lady only wants 4 or 5 star, haha.

There is a 26K attendee conference taking place 9/23-9/26 and an additional conference of 17K attendees 9/24-9/26... either on its own could have an effect on prices, but together, that is likely the culprit for the higher than usual rates you're seeing.

I ended up going the week before using the PRICELINE link included above. $111 (before big city 6 discount) at the Cosmopolitan for Monday Sept 16/13 to Thurs Sept 19/13.
