Jenna87
Priceline is showing a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal in the French Quarter-Canal Street for a 4* for $98 with an 8.0 rating and "guest favorite!" tag. It lists the following amenities - free internet, indoor or outdoor pool, restaurant and fitness center. It'd be great to know which hotel this is, but if that's not possible is there a way to rule out The Westin New Orleans Canal Place? Looks like the Westin is farthest from the French Quarter. Priceline is also showing a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for a 3* for $117 with an 7.0 rating. That one lists the following amenities - free internet, restaurant and fitness center. Anyone have any ideas?I'm trying to find a place as close to the action of the Quarter as possible from Friday, Aug. 30-checkout Monday, Sept. 2. Since it's Labor Day Weekend and Southern Decadence, I figure hotels are going to be packed so I should probably jump on something soon, right? These boards are awesome, I appreciate all the wisdom from you guys! Link to comment
tigersbh
My guess is the Marriot, which would be a great location. It looks like it could also be the Westin. The Westin isn't a bad location, especially if you are going to the riverfront and/or the casino.NOTE: I do not represent this website. I'm just a user like you, giving his best guess! thereuare
I don't see any way to exclude the Westin from possibility of this property, but i agree with the comment above... it's not really a bad location. Using Pat O'Briens as a landmark, google maps puts the Westin at an 11 minute walk. The zone isn't really that big, so you can't really be too far away regardless of where in the zone you end up.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help.
