thefreematrix
I'm looking for a hotel for high season, Sept 5-12 or approx those dates. I know TIFF is in town, which makes the rates REALLY high, but am hoping to find something Downtown Toronto, hopefully near entertainment district, 4 stars, but can go down to 3.5 if it's possible to predict which hotel. I know I'll probably be bidding a bit higher than normal... any advice on where to start and what to expect is most welcome! Link to comment

thefreematrix
Yes, but I would prefer to be closer to the entertainment district if at all possible. Link to comment
thereuare
When bidding on PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept a hotel anywhere within the shaded boundaries of the zone... there is no way to target a specific area of the zone.If this is still acceptable, when bidding 4* in Toronto you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Downtown North and Downtown South...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $133, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $138, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $143, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $148, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
