Roadguy
Hi June,Im familiar with the area, and I would definately NOT stay at that Ramada. Its a terrible area even though its so close to Carlsbad. One of the great finds I have made on HOTWIRE is the Holiday Inn Express in San Clemente. Its very nice and for your dates I see the 3 star San Clemente 95% approval is $109 (2 adults 2 kids) on HOTWIRE. I think thats the Holiday Inn Express and where Ive stayed the last half dozen times I have worked in that area.Granted, its 30 minutes to Legoland, but some of those others areas you have bid for are also 30 minutes Link to comment

juneluv11
We ended up staying with out back-up at the Ramada Oceanside. The hotel ended up being great for us with no problems. Only thing was the pool was a little on the cold side. Link to comment
