Heyehy12
Hi,I have booked with Allerton hotel from August 11 - 14 for $95 each night. But after reading some of the tripadvisor reviews from fellow individuals who have booked through Priceline, I'm worried the hotel won't live up to being 4 stars :( Link to comment
thereuare
Under $100 for a hotel in Chicago during the summer certainly seems like a very nice deal. I'd suggest going with an open mind, and even if the property does fall short of your 4* standards, hopefully you'll still find it to be a good value for the price paid.Thank you for sharing your win with the board. radcrow
If things are not satisfactory during your stay, make sure you bring it to the attention of a manager so they have the opportunity to correct what they can. Link to comment
AaronJB
I'll second what thereuare said, and while this property is an older property that gets some mixed reviews, it is in an extremely good (and convenient) location and this is a nice deal for a busy period.Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
SSchus87
My wife and I have stayed there many times. They underwent a major remodel several years ago. It is nice inside. The rooms tend to be small however. Last time we were there ($65 PRICELINE bid for a February) they put us in a room that was about the size of my bedroom at home. With a bed, chair and TV, there wasn't much room to walk around. My wife complained (ie, turned on her charm) and we were upgraded to a corner suite. It was directly over Michigan Ave, and also faced north. Couldn't beat it. As busy as Chicago is this time of year, the likelihood of that happening isn't great. But, regardless of the room you get, the location is wonderful. Have fun!! Link to comment
