rent a car early or late?

I want to rent a car from lax airpot aug 9 evening until 15th noon.

prices are very high for those days...cheapest compact is almost$200

should i wait more before i try with priceline?

is it good to book early or late?

Personally, I don't think this is early to bid for August. Go for it now....start low for a few days.

yes i want a one way rental pick up at lax and drop off at ont airport

i checked many other dates, unfortunately my dates are the highest priced

not sure why its giving me such a high price for those days

my max that im willing to pay is $230 for a midsize car for the total trip....so maybe that would be $27 or $28 per day

no the $200 rate was for returning at lax also, not one way

i bid 4 times so far...i started at $20 a day and went up to $30

all my bids got rejected.

I got a counter bid for $45!!! for mid-size car

thats too expensive for me.

I think ill wait more and then check for last minute deals.

Budget is showing for $280 with a coupon i found online.

But still hoping for cheaper.
