$25 resort fee

These are my guesses but I hope you guys can share your opinion:

Sept 30 - Oct 4 Hotwire Las Vegas:

i m a g e s h a c k dot us /a/img855/7286/ptna.jpg

NUMBER ONE: I think it is either Wynn or Encore (looking at the "former prices" of $190 - $183 USD) because they are both at the North Area of strip.

* could be "Trump" as that is the only one that says "Pets accepted". It's impossible to get a great deal. Trump hotel is $114 showing on hotwire, right now and the location is further than the others, hence the 4.0 for location?

NUMBER TWO: Formerly $200 USD is most likely Cosmopolitan (but Cosmopolitan says internet is surcharge, while hot rate says it's free. Vdara is the only one that gives free internet)? I haven't heavily researched the amenities. But I am wondering what you think.

PS: I did click on the links posted by "admin" to search for these hotels and will do so when I make a purchase from hotwire. I look forward to your response and thanks in advance.

Are the "hot rate" hotels typically the much worse rooms? My dad is a skeptic when it comes to these "hidden hotel" deals. I was wondering if some of you can explain further what the worst can happen without knowing the name of the hotels? Thanks again,

Ray

Sept 30 - Oct 4 Hotwire Las Vegas:

NUMBER ONE: I think it is either Wynn or Encore (looking at the "former prices" of $190 - $183 USD) because they are both at the North Area of strip. It says "golf course on site" for Wynn/Encore. Trump doesn't have "golf" on amenities. Not sure how reliable it is. Any guesses?

Saw a thread: "5* Las Vegas (Strip North) Wynn" that one had "casino" listed. This one doesn't. I'm hoping it's Encore/Wynn. But this doesn't show on amenities.

* Also, on tripadvisor. $180-183 is about the average price. Which matches this one. But not sure.

* could be "Trump" as that is the only one that says "Pets accepted". It's impossible to get a great deal. Trump hotel is $114 showing on hotwire, right now and the location is further than the others, hence the 4.0 for location?

* I just called their customer service in Manila, Philippines. They said even if I select a five star hotel, there's no guarantee that a five star would be available. Man, this is tough.

Thank you for your reply.

I wish the 5* North was Wynn/Encore. The 4/5 rating for location may reveal it to be Trump, but it says "Golf nearby" and there's no golf course for Trump.

I checked TripAdvisor and Expedia has Trump hotel for the same days for $93 CDN/night. Not much savings. Is there any chance that #1 is Wynn? It doesn't list casino on there (which Wynn has), and everywhere else kind of shows $183.

Vdara has an average of $137.

Thanks for your help. i reviewed the Hotwire Hotel Lists on this forum. It looks like

1) Trump

2) Vdara

The "formerly" prices can be misleading and won't match with Hotwire. I guess I would have to pay more to get something like Wynn or Bellagio (ideal).

The first property in all likelihood is the Trump... besides the lack of a casino, i don't believe the Wynn/Encore rooms have kitchenettes, which the offer above does have.

The crossed out price is not the price of the hotel offered, but rather the average price of hotels at that star rating in the zone for your dates.

If you do choose to book direct, please use the board's Bellagio link (as found in our Support Page).. our any of the hotel offers thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com. You may also want to try to stick with something refundable as the offers on HOTWIRE can change often... especially in Vegas.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
