agenthehe
it's down to $159 a night for express bidding, so far I've bid $120 & 125 and been shot down... Hoping I can get it for less than $140! Love the Bellagio, but think this is Aria... either way it'll be a good score! As someone who has lurked the site for over a year, hope I can help others! Will post what bid is accepted! Link to comment

agenthehe
Was shot down today at 127. There is a place listed on Hotwire that is $131 to instant purchase, I'm guessing the Vdara since 5 star no casino south strip. I'll probably go up to $130 tomorrow on Priceline with the 5% off code then decide if I'm giving in. Link to comment
thereuare
Note that there is also a 5* hotel on PRICELINE EXPRESS in the Strip North zone for $142/nite which would appear to be the Palazzo (Casino is listed among the amenities)... less the 5% discount is about $135/nite, which may be worthwhile if the Strip North zone (which is usually more expensive then the Strip South zone) is worth an extra $5 to you.Let us know how it ends up or if we can be of help along the way. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck! agenthehe
I keep going back and forth... For Poops & Giggles I bid $100 on 4 1/2* after getting shot down and of course got shot down again. Debating on bidding $75 of 4* but not sure what south strip 4* all are on Priceline, I assume, MGM, NY NY, Paris, Cesears, Tropicana... not sure if things like Westin are includedAlso checked Hotwire hot rate 5* (all the amenities besides Casino) which I assume means it has to be Vdara or 4 Seasons. BTW if I wasn't there for a wedding I'd jump all over the Palazzo as that's one of the few high end casinos I've not stayed at but we are there for my brothers wedding I'm in which is at Mandalay Bay which I'd stay in but somehow has been sold out only on that Thursday for like 6 months now. Litterly only day sold out, not sure how! Last time out was at the Wynn in Dec for a ridiculously low price, so I'm being greedy now lol Decisions decisions... Any word on the 4*, will I get stuck with Trop probably? Link to comment
thereuare
You can see all hotels reported to the board in the Priceline Hotel Lists. As far as telling which of the 4* hotels you would win if bidding on PRICELINE, there is no way to know/guess.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. agenthehe
I really just didn't want the Westin due to bad experiences others have had there. Never even realized you guys had the lists, I always just looked through the boards. I put in a $75 bid at 4* not accepted, going to keep bidding daily and figure out the right price! Just wish I could figure out what's going on in Vegas that weekend (nothing really, the fight is the weekend before) Link to comment
AaronJB
What are you looking for in terms of hotel/budget? Would you rather push for a 5* or go towards a lower 4?Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment

agenthehe
Always have to use the links on here, even when I was just lurking a bit, always have to help people out who help you and get you $ for clicks! Thanks for the heads up on the interbike, I didn't look super hard as to what it was, just knew there was no sporting or concert event, that it had to be some expo or something. As far as what I'm looking to pay, if it's 5* I'd love to try and keep it under $600-$650 at most, if I can get a 4* for under $400-$450 maybe I'd go that route, this is all before that dumb $25-30 a day Vegas resort fee. I've done Vegas probably 15+ times everything from Hooters & Harrah's when I didn't care about the room & amenities all the way up to Bellagio & Wynn, as I get older (34 now) I seem to think my days of sub 4* are done and I'd rather stay 5* if not outrageous. thereuare
With HOTWIRE offering the 5* in the Strip South zone at $131, and you basically right there with your PRICELINE bid, i would use that as your maximum bid on the next round of bidding and if rejected take the HOTWIRE offer. Anything near the $125 level for a 5* hotel in Vegas, where half the dates are over weekend dates, i think is a very good deal. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you ultimately decide and how we can be of further help. agenthehe
I agree the $131 is good, just not sure if I want to stay at the Vdara, never stayed at a non casino out there. Link to comment
agenthehe
Today got shot down $130 5* and $80 4* I'll still give it a few more goes before I give into the $131 possibly. Priceline also has the 5% off so it's still cheaper. Link to comment

agenthehe
been bidding various ways for weeks. Finally got them to accept $109 so with the 5% off sale got ot for about $475 for the 4 nights. Link to comment
agenthehe
finally got priceline to take 4* south strip $109 for 9/19-9/23. With the 5% discount it's about $475, staying on the south strip the #'s have been really jumpy that weekend. Just as I was about to settle on the hotwire Vdara deal it started jumping way high as did other things this weekend. They kind of came back down (not as far) so I ended up with this. Link to comment
